Responsibilities

Work with management and restaurant team to offer an impeccable food & craft beer experience. The job includes but is not limited to:

  • Managing and overseeing daily kitchen operations incl. quality control and administrative tasks.
  • Select, manage and motivate the kitchen team.
  • Ensures smooth communication & cooperation with the restaurant team.
  • Coordinate food and other supply orders & actively manages stock.
  • Ensures consistent quality of food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure hygiene polices are followed and sanitation standards are met.
  • Assist in the planning and developing of recipes incl. food presentation.
  • Management tasks incl. but not limited to employee scheduling, labor cost control, budgeting, purchasing and inventory control.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience in the kitchen of which 1-2 years in a supervisor/management position.
  • Passion for good food.
  • Experienced with working in an intercultural environment.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Knowledgeable about food hygiene.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Chinese language skills are a plus.

The job includes but is not limited to:

  • Managing all aspects of social media from content creation including copywriting, creating visuals and editing video’s to tracking statistics and optimizing posts.
  • Use your photography skills to create attractive food-, drink- and atmosphere pictures.
  • Social media management incl. post optimization on Chinese and Western platforms like Facebook, WeChat and Weibo with the aim to grow our online presence and community.
  • Ensure consistency across all channels though effective planning & scheduling and coordinating with outlet managers.
  • Monitor social media platforms and reply to customer questions and comments.
  • Generating free PR opportunities by organizing innovative campaigns.

Requirements

  • Work experience in the field of social media and content creation.
  • Ability to work with/create content for Facebook, WeChat and Weibo.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, Photoshop and/or Corel Draw.
  • You’re an efficient, self starting, go-getter that’s able to prioritize and keep an overview.
